1986-1995 California State Superintendent, Fine Woodworking Department, 22nd Agricultural District, Del Mar. Supervised annual “Design In Wood” show, largest public woodworking exhibition in America, created “19th Century Cabinetmakers Workshop”. State judge in 1984. Awarded “Best of Show” for traditional furniture in 1998.

1975-1985 Conservator of Furniture at Banning Residence Museum. Responsible for upholstery, restoration, conservation, research, installation, inventory and documentation of all furniture. Assisted in docent training program.

1995 “Kindred Spirits” Mingei International Folk Art Museum. Researched, authored, presented material for 1/2 hour video to accompany traveling exhibition.
1992 “The Age of Elegance” Timken Museum of Art/KPBS/NEA. Researched, authored, presented material. Nominated for Emmy award in 1993 for Best Documentary.
1973 “Welcome to the Past...The History of American Furniture” San Diego Community College/CBS TV. Researched, authored, presented ten 1/2 hour shows. Repeated in 1976 by popular demand.

MUSEUM INSTALLATIONS
1992-1994 “The Age of Elegance: France in the 18th century” Timken Museum, Balboa Park. Designed, installed, operated Didactic Gallery, presented weekly lectures and demonstrations of French marquetry/veneer techniques. Funding by National Endowment for the Arts.
1982 “Henry Sargent’s ‘Dinner Party’” Huntington Beach Library. Designed, installed exhibition of period furniture re-creating “Dinner Party”, painted by Sargent in Boston in 1821.
1981 “American Decorative Arts: 300 years of Heritage” Southwestern College Art Gallery. Designed, installed exhibition of period furniture, presented lecture series.
2002, 2004 "Artist-At-Work" Program, J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles. Series of public demonstrations and docent lectures illustrating various French and Italian 17th and 18th century marquetry techniques.
